Toto Steubesand is a man of many accomplishments, a true inspiration to many people in Germany and beyond. His journey began in his family’s industrial laundry business, where he grew up and gained a deep understanding of the textile cleaning industry. Motivated by this experience, Toto went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in textile cleaning from college.
In 1995, Toto joined the German Armed Forces and pursued a career in the Navy. He worked in various positions involving acoustic and human intelligence and ultimately became a field HUMINT leader and a tactical HUMINT leader in the international Special Forces community. He was also promoted to Anti-Terrorism/Anti-Piracy Staff Officer Class (NITC Netsafa intern. Trainings center) in Pensacola, Florida.
After leaving the military, Toto became the CEO of ZST Security Service Consulting and Technology GmbH, which is based in Bordesholm, Germany. He was responsible for overseeing the company’s operations, providing security solutions to clients in various sectors. His leadership and vision helped the company grow and thrive, and he was later promoted to Executive Partner.
Toto’s passion for security and his commitment to excellence led him to co-find the International Academy for Security (IAS), an institution that provides training and education to individuals interested in security-related fields. IAS aims to prepare professionals for the challenges they may face in the field and equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel.
In 2016, Toto established his martial arts school in Kiel, Germany, under the name AbwehrKraft. The school teaches people of all ages and types “Israeli Krav Maga,” a self-defense style that is known as the gold standard in the self-defense industry. Toto and his team teach military personnel, police enforcement officers, all other aspects of security, and the general public close-quarter combat and correct weapon use. The school has become a popular destination for people interested in learning self-defense and combat techniques.
Aside from his professional accomplishments, Toto is also a mentor and life coach to many people he encounters. His commitment to helping others and his ability to motivate and inspire people are well-known in his community. Toto is always willing to share his experiences and knowledge to help others achieve their goals and overcome obstacles.
